My Early Morning Gift

I decided about a week ago that I really wanted to take some pictures at dawn and take pics of the grass with my macro lens, and even though I tried my hardest to motivate myself to do it before work, yeah that just didn't happen . So this morning I decided to not ignore the snooze alarm and was rewarded with some really amazing scenery, both for macro shots and wide angle. I've got more of both that I really like and will probably upload tomorrow (along with some other images that I've been meaning to upload), but this one was by far my favorite. I still don't really have a great grasp on the macro thing, but considering I was really happy with how this one turned out

And yes, I know Justin is at me for getting out of bed early to take pictures of those stupid waterdrops I always teased him about being obsessed over, but I really had a fun time just playing with the settings and focus and seeing what I could do. Plus I drove about a mile down the road to what looks like a golf course, but I believe is a nature preserve or equestrian field,(one or the other, but not a golf course I don't think, but it's an open field with all these gorgeous hills) and the sun coming up over that field was just so amazingly beautiful. And yes, I've got pics... those are for tomorrow though
