Project 27 1.15.09

Today is Space Mountain's birthday, so I wanted to go over and say hi to her and wish her another Happy 33 years (she's going to have some work done soon, so I figured I should wish her well ) Of course, as luck would have it, she broke down right as my friend and I were going to go get in line... But since I know about the mountain and her temper tantrums, I figured it wouldn't be too long before we were up and running. So after we waited a little while, I decided my idea for my photo tonight would be much easy to accomplish when the queue was empty, or at least not packed in the area I wanted to get my shot in... Unfortunately the guy working the door wouldn't let me in, major bummer and way to kill the magic (which seems to happen more and more these days since people like to jerk the system around and thus cause the honest people like me to never get that pixie dust treatment disney is famous for... nowadays you only get it if you complain, which I for a second thought about doing... but whatever) Once it finally opened back my friend and I rushed in and I figured I wasn't going to let a few crazy tourists ruin my shot, and since it just opened the line was nowhere near full. So I went ahead and setup my tripod and hoped for a little lull in the crowd, at which point my friend sorta stepped in and prevented anyone else from coming by ( I still had to composite this one though because of the people walking by, I didn't really like them walking by in front of me, behind me was impossible to aviod). Because we're nice though and only held up the line long enough to get a few shots in, I'm really not happy at all with how I look in this one... But Space Mountain, girl she looks good And if this picture had sound, it would be my totally awesome ring tone, which is the background music for this part of the queue
