Project 27 11.30.08

At my work we have an annual bear dress up contest (not really a contest, more of a pageant I guess ) for charity. Basically all the costuming cast members can get a toy bear and dress it up however they would like, and then they display them for a little while and then they're given to children right before Christmas. Well I kinda waited until the last minute to dress up my bear, I thought someone else was going to dress her up for me but they never did, so I went out and bought a little christmas outfit for a newborn and made it work... My sewing machine kinda decided to hate me, but that's a different story... so now my teddy bear's all done (as done as it's going to get)... not as nicely fitted as I would like, and no accessories for her poor head, but I did have some time after giving up on the sewing machine to take some "mommy and me" pictures before I send her off into the big world by herself. Obviously, I picked her dress right when I walked in the store because I had one just like it!! It made me laugh, so I knew that had to be the one I hope it makes the little girl (or boy?) who gets it smile just as big
